Terms of Use of the Көпір platform
Version 0.1 of 23 September 2026. Effective from effectiveDate.
The Көпір platform operates in test mode. It was created during the HackAlem AI hackathon as a prototype of a service that connects businesses with student teams.
1. General provisions
1.1. These Terms govern the relationship between будет указано при запуске (the Operator) and any person who uses the Көпір platform (the User).
1.2. These Terms are a contract of adhesion within the meaning of Article 389 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Operator sets the terms, and the User accepts them as a whole.
1.3. The text of these Terms published on the platform is a public offer. The User accepts the offer by ticking the consent box or by starting to use the platform: creating a task, sending a proposal or confirming a milestone.
1.4. The Personal Data Policy, the Catalog and Rating Rules and the Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence form part of these Terms.
1.5. A User who does not agree with these Terms must not use the platform.
2. Definitions

2.2. Business representative means a User who publishes a task on behalf of an organization or an individual entrepreneur.
2.3. Student team means a group of Users who browse tasks and send proposals together. A team acts through its team profile.
2.4. Task means a description of a business need, problem or assignment, set out as a card.
2.5. Task card means the structured description of a task: title, context, need, users, data, constraints, expected result, success criteria, contact and format of interaction.
2.6. Readiness rating means a score from 0 to 100 that shows how ready a task is for work with students. It is calculated under the Catalog and Rating Rules.
2.7. Catalog means the shared list of published tasks available to all student teams.
2.8. Proposal means a student team's offer on a task: solution idea, plan, deadline and a link to a prototype.
2.9. Milestone means a part of the work on a task whose completion is confirmed by the Business representative.
2.10. Team points means the platform's internal points a team earns for milestones confirmed by the business.
2.11. AI assistant means the platform features based on artificial intelligence systems.
3. Users and authority
3.1. The Business representative confirms that they are authorized to act on behalf of the organization whose task they publish.
3.2. Members of a student team confirm that they have the necessary legal capacity. A member under 18 uses the platform with the consent of their legal representative.
3.3. The User provides accurate information and is responsible for keeping it up to date.
3.4. A team profile does not contain gender, age, ethnicity, religion, health or other sensitive information. It contains the team's name, description, interests, skills and technologies.
4. Publishing tasks
4.1. The Business representative describes the task in their own words. The AI assistant asks clarifying questions and proposes a draft card.
4.2. The Business representative reviews every field of the card, edits it if needed and confirms it personally. A card is published only after manual confirmation.
4.3. The Business representative is responsible for the content of the card. It is prohibited to publish:
- personal data of third parties without a legal basis;
- information that is a trade secret or another secret protected by law, without the decision of its holder;
- false information and advertising unrelated to the task;
- materials that violate the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan or the rights of third parties.
4.4. Students receive synthetic or depersonalized data for their work. Real data is shared only under a separate agreement of the parties and where a legal basis exists.
5. Moderation
5.1. The Operator reviews published materials automatically and manually. The automatic review looks for personal data and signs of violations of these Terms.
5.2. If material violates these Terms or the law, the Operator may hide it, return it for revision or delete it. The User receives a message with the reason.
5.3. The User may request a review of a moderation decision by writing to будет указано при запуске. The repeated decision is made by an employee of the Operator.
6. Prohibited actions
The User must not:
- collect platform data by automated means without the Operator's permission;
- access other users' profiles, tasks, proposals or data;
- upload malware or interfere with the platform;
- circumvent technical restrictions and limits of the platform;
- artificially inflate a rating by confirming knowingly false information or creating duplicate tasks;
- send mass identical proposals or spam;
- impersonate another person or organization.
7. Rating and catalog
7.1. The readiness rating is calculated by software under an open formula. Points are awarded only for card fields that are filled in and confirmed.
7.2. The rating reflects the readiness of a specific task. The fame, size or status of a company does not affect it.
7.3. The rating determines the task's position in the catalog. A task with a low rating stays in the catalog with a "needs clarification" mark and can still receive proposals.
7.4. The rating is informational. The Operator does not guarantee that a task will receive proposals.
8. Proposals and choosing a team
8.1. Any student team may send a proposal on any published task. The number of proposals is not limited.
8.2. The Business representative compares the proposals and decides to choose one team, several teams or none. Neither the platform nor the AI assistant chooses or assigns teams.
8.3. The Business representative states the period within which they review proposals. The platform shows this period to student teams and marks tasks where it has been missed.
8.4. Choosing a team does not oblige the parties to enter into a transaction. The parties agree on the terms of joint work in a collaboration agreement. The platform provides a template of the agreement; the Operator is not a party to it.
9. Milestones and team points
9.1. Points are awarded to a team only after the Business representative has confirmed that a milestone is completed.
9.2. Team points reflect confirmed progress and are used within the platform. Points are not money, have no monetary value and cannot be transferred to third parties.
10. Artificial intelligence
10.1. The AI assistant helps formulate a task, asks questions, proposes the text of the card and the technical documentation and recommends tasks to teams.
10.2. The AI assistant does not add information the User has not provided. Fields without information stay empty.
10.3. Results of the AI assistant may contain inaccuracies. The User checks them before confirming. Text created with the help of AI is marked on the platform.
10.4. Detailed terms are set out in the Notice on the Use of Artificial Intelligence.
11. Intellectual property
11.1. The software, design and texts of the platform are protected by the intellectual property laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
11.2. The User grants the Operator a free non-exclusive right to display the materials the User publishes on the platform for the period they are published. This right is needed only to run the platform.
11.3. Rights to the results of a student team's work on a task are defined by the collaboration agreement between the business and the team.
12. Personal data
12.1. The Operator processes personal data in accordance with Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 94-V of 21 May 2013 "On personal data and their protection" and the Personal Data Policy.
12.2. The User does not include personal data of third parties in a task description or a proposal without a legal basis. The platform helps find and depersonalize such data.
13. Messages
The Operator sends messages to the User on the platform and through the contacts the User has provided. Messages concern tasks, proposals, milestones and changes to these Terms.
14. Liability
14.1. The platform is provided in test mode on an "as is" basis. The Operator takes reasonable measures to keep it working but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
14.2. The Operator is not a party to the relationship between businesses and student teams and is not responsible for its performance.
14.3. Limitations of the Operator's liability do not apply where the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan do not allow such limitations.
15. Force majeure
The parties are released from liability for failure to perform obligations caused by force majeure, including natural disasters, failures of networks and equipment of third parties and decisions of state bodies.
16. Changes to these Terms
16.1. The Operator may change these Terms. A new version is published on the platform with its number and date and takes effect upon publication unless it states another date.
16.2. By continuing to use the platform after a change, the User accepts the new version.
17. Languages
These Terms are made in the Kazakh and Russian languages. Both versions have equal force. The English version is provided for convenience and has no legal force.
18. Governing law and disputes
18.1. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
